Young Applauds Senate Confirmation of Justin Olson for Southern District of Indiana
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) applauded Senate confirmation of Justin Olson to be a United States District Judge for the Southern District of Indiana.
“Justin is a Hoosier through and through, with a distinguished record of public service, legal excellence, and respect for the rule of law,” said Young. “Over the course of his career, he has demonstrated the integrity, judgment, and temperament that are essential for service on the federal bench. I look forward to his service.”
Olson currently practices civil litigation at a law firm in Indianapolis, where he has handled complex legal matters and fought discrimination against women in college sports. He previously served with distinction as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District and as a law clerk to Chief Justice Loretta Rush on the Indiana Supreme Court. He graduated magna cum laude from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and summa cum laude from Grove City College.
