Young, Braun Soliciting Applications for Federal District Court Vacancy in Southern District of Indiana

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senators Todd Young (R-Ind.) and Mike Braun (R-Ind.) announced that they are soliciting applications for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. The application and related materials must be submitted by April 30, 2024. The application can be accessed here. 

U.S. District Court judges are nominated by the President of the United States and must be confirmed by the U.S. Senate. The Constitution provides that U.S. Senators advise and consent on presidential nominations, including federal judicial nominees.
