Young Recognizes Students Who Completed Summer Internship in Indiana and Washington

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) recognized students who participated in the second session of his summer internship program in his Washington, D.C. and Indianapolis offices. The students assisted with daily activities and special projects related to legislation, communications, and constituent services.
The Washington D.C. class included (from left) Natalie Morris, a rising junior from Crown Point attending the University of Notre Dame; Sydney Melton, a rising junior from Washington attending Indiana University Bloomington; Edythe McCurrie, a rising junior attending the University of Notre Dame; Matthew Margo, a rising senior attending Purdue University; Vincent Mann, a rising junior from Indianapolis attending Princeton University; Kevin Boes, a second-year PHD student attending Purdue University; and Lucas LaHood, a rising junior attending the University of Miami.
The Indianapolis intern class included (from left) Samantha Kilgus, a rising junior from Indianapolis attending Lipscomb University; Matthew Amante, a rising senior attending the University of Notre Dame; Blake White, a recent graduate from Camby who attended Wabash College; and Collin Monesmith, a rising senior from Indianapolis attending Indiana University Bloomington.
Senator Young’s office offers internship opportunities year-round, in both his Washington, D.C. and Indiana offices. The internship program offers students the opportunity to experience the legislative branch of government and serve Hoosiers.
